  1. There are two types of bonds present in between an atom or molecule i.e, (a) Weak bonds and (b) Strong bonds.
  2. Weak bonds- When there is less force of attraction in between the atoms or molecules they are called weak bonds. They are of two types - Van der Waal Bonds and Hydrogen bond
  3. Van de Waal bonds are weak bonds formed due to the less force of attraction. For example, Mostly all liquids and some solids.
  4. Hydrogen bonds are also considered weak forces formed between a Hydrogen atom and an electronegative element. Example: H-Cl
