What is Arithmetic Progression in Simple Words

In mathematics, a set of numbers is an arithmetic progression (AP) or an arithmetic sequence such that the difference between successive words is unchanged. An integer series is considered the sum of a finite arithmetic progression.

An arithmetic progression is a set of numbers in which successive terms (beginning with the second term) are constructed by adding to the previous term a constant quantity. The popular difference in progression is called the constant quantity mentioned in the above description.
