Gypsum powder:

  1. Gypsum powder is found in deposits as a natural product.
  2. Initially, it is a white mineral rock that is processed into a dry powder.
  3. Natural gypsum contains Calcium, Sulfur, Oxygen, and Hydrogen.
  4. Gypsum powder is used primarily in building materials, such as drywall, but it is also used as a soil conditioner and fertilizer in agriculture.

The manufacturing procedure of the Gypsum powder is given below:

  1. It is a smooth powder which is white in colour that is synthesized by the heating process of Gypsum stone.
  2. Gypsum powder is prepared from the Gypsum ore by the use of a Raymond grinder.
  3. First, the Gypsum ore is crushed and then collected.
  4. The collected ore is again crushed into smaller size particles with a diameter of 2 inches.
  5. The moisture content is removed by the drying process either in a rotary dryer or heated roller mill.
  6. The final product is obtained through the cyclone which is less than 100mesh in size.
