AB=BA=I , where I is an identity matrix. Therefore we called A and B are invertible matrices.

  • An invertible matrix is a square matrix.
  • An invertible matrix is also called a nonsingular matrix.
  • Non-singular matrices are those matrices whose determinant is non-zero.
