The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is one of the most reputed colleges in India and is located in Pune. What is Cut off?

NEET Cut off is the minimum score a candidate must secure to successfully qualify for medical counselling. Once the results are declared, the officials declare the cut off based on different criteria. NEET cut off is subject to change every year.

Aspirants can refer to previous trends to know and get an idea of the minimum qualifying criteria. After the test, the AFMC NEET 2020 cut off is declared, which contains the list of students who have passed the first level. This cut off score is hence referred to as the lowest qualifying percentile to get admitted in AFMC.

AFMC Admissions

Here’s another good news for Medical aspirants. Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) has announced that no separate exam will be conducted towards the admission of MBBS course this year. The admission process will be entirely based on the AIPMT 2016 score of a candidate.

Candidates who are seeking admission towards AFMC are advised appearing for AIPMT. Candidates who wish to pursue MBBS from AFMC, need to separately apply to the official site of AFMC along with appearing for AIPMT 2016.
The link for registration & online application towards the MBBS course in AFMC will be activated after CBSE allots Roll Number to the candidates appearing in AIPMT 2016.

There are total 130 medical seats available for the academic year 2016-2017, among which 25 seats are available for female candidates. Total 10 seats are reserved for scheduled castes /scheduled tribes.
AIPMT 2016 is scheduled to be held on May 1. The CBSE will release the merit list for MBBS AFMC 2016 according to the AIPMT scores. Eligible candidates can apply for AIPMT and AFMC irrespective of their state of domicile.

AFMC Evaluation Process:

Once a candidate qualifies AIPMT, AFMC will conduct its own assessment towards the admission of the MBBS course.

The candidates will have to appear in computer-based Test Of English Language, Comprehension and Logic and Reasoning (ToELR). This test will consist of 40 MCQs carrying 2 marks each. The time duration of this test is 30 minutes. 0.5 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The final evaluation of a candidate will based upon the AIPMT 2016 score, ToELR score and interview marks.
