The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow (IIIT Lucknow) began its first batch of B.Tech in Information Technology with an initial intake of 50 students for the academic year 2015-16. The Institute presently provides all academic and non-academic amenities to its students on campus. Candidates who qualify in JEE Main are admitted to the B.Tech programme at IIIT Lucknow through central counselling. The Institute is being set up with the financial contributions of MHRD, the Government of India, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and U.P. Electronics Corporation Ltd. as industry partners.
