The Ministry of Education, the Government of India, the Government of Himachal Pradesh, HP Power Corporation Limited, and HP Transmission Corporation Limited are the founding partners of IIIT Una. Each year, students are admitted to IIIT Una’s B.Tech programmes based on their performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main), which is conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). The Institute must adhere to the reservation policy updated from time to time by MoE, Government of India, for admission to B. Tech programmes.

II. Admission under the DASA programme

Foreign students living in India or overseas or Indians living abroad may be admitted to UG programmes through the DASA scheme according to the policy guidelines laid by the MoE, the Government of India.
