The Ministry of Education (MoE) of the Government of India founded the Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT-V) as a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP). IIIT Vadodara was started in 2013. Currently, IIIT Vadodara is conducting classes in the temporary campus at Government Engineering College in Gandhinagar until its new campus in Vadodara, Gujarat, becomes operational.
