IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) and the Central Government have jointly taken a decision to release all the solved question papers of JEE since the inception of IITs, HRD Minister Smriti Irani said. The move is aimed at helping students
The JEE question papers will be released through an app and portal.
IIT JEE is one of the toughest Engineering entrance exams. The various IIt and HRD Ministry have decided to set the future JEE exams, keeoing in mind the class 12th Syllabus to reduce the difficulty level of JEE.
The HRD ministry will also release video and audio lectures to help the IIT aspirants.
IITs being India’s most elite engineering schools, the JEE examination is tough and requires more than just proficiency with the Class 12 syllabus.
In the year 2012, the IITs for the first time uploaded JEE answer sheets for a “brief period” before the final rankings were prepared. In August 2011, the Supreme Court had ruled that examination answer sheets must be made public under the Right to Information Act.
