The Examination Dates of JEE Advanced 2018 has been announced by IIT-Joint Admission Board (JAB) and the exam will be conducted by IIT Kanpur on May 20th, 2018. IIT Joint Admission Board has also announced that JEE Advanced will be conducted online from the year 2018 onwards.

Around 1.3 Million students appeared for JEE Mains 2017 and among them only top 2.21 lakh students were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

The Joint Admission Board is the policy-making body on admissions into IITs. The HRD Ministry had already introduced the option of taking the JEE Mains online. JEE Advanced 2017 was conducted by IIT Madras. Students are eligible for counselling in 23 IITs and ISM Dhanbad on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Advanced.
