National Testing Agency has just announced that they are extending the JEE Main registration date for the April 2020 examination. The notification was released on its official website which states that the last day to submit the application form will be March 12. Previously, the deadline for completing the registration was March 6.
NTA has said that this change has been brought about in order to enable the aspiring candidates who have not been able to apply for the exam. Furthermore, the agency has stated that this is being done in view of a number of requests that they received in this regard.
This should be a welcome relief for students who are still interested in or making up their minds to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam. Besides, students who have not yet registered for the exam can now submit their applications. The application form can be accessed from the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in.) and the registration link will remain open until 5 pm for the said date. In addition, the last day to submit the JEE application fees will also be March 12th.
As for the correction facility, registered candidates will be able to make corrections or edit the particulars in their form starting March 13th to 16th. However, as per the rules set by the exam authority, an additional fee will be charged for this process. Earlier, this was supposed to start from March 8 to March 12.
Candidates should keep in mind the newly revised schedule as well as be careful in filling the online application forms or while making the corrections. The registration process for the JEE Main 2020 April exam began on February 7th.

Meanwhile, the JEE Main April session is the second exam of the year. The first session of the JEE Main was held in January 2020. The exam is held twice in a year. The April exam is scheduled to begin from April 5th – 11th.
