JEE Main 2021 April Session Exams Postponed

In view of the recent developments surrounding the COVID-19 situation in the country, NTA has now decided to postpone the April session of the JEE Main 2021 exam. As per the exam authority, this decision has been made “taking into account the safety and well-being of the candidates and examination functionaries.” Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has also confirmed the same in a tweet. COVID-19 cases have been rising rapidly in the country.

As per the official notice, the revised dates for the JEE (Main) – 2021 April session will be announced later on and at least 15 days before the examination. The JEE (Main) -2021 April Session was scheduled to be held on 27, 28, and 30 April 2021.  Out of the four sessions of JEE Main 2021 two sessions have already been completed in February (Session 1: from 23 to 26 February 2021) and March (Session 2: from 16 to 18 March). The number of candidates who appeared in Session 1 was 6,20,978 and in Session 2 was 5,56,248.
