The JEE Main 2023 Session 2 was conducted on 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 April 2023. Approximately 9.4 lakh candidates appeared for the second session of the JEE Main 2023 at different centres located in 330 cities (approx.) throughout the country and 15 cities outside India. After the conclusion of Session 2, NTA released the answer key for Paper 1 of the JEE Main (2023) question paper for all the shifts on the specified dates on 19 April 2023. Candidates can raise their objections on the provisional answer key published by the NTA from 19 April to 21 April 2023 (up to 05:00 p.m.).

Below are the steps to raise objections or challenge the provisional answer key published by the exam conducting authority (NTA), which candidates can follow to check their answers and calculate the expected score.
Step 1: Visit the NTA website
Step 2: Click on the link “JEE – Main 2023 Session 2 Answer Key Challenge”
Step 3: Login with JEE Main 2023 (Session 2) credentials – Application number and date of birth, and then enter the security code visible on the screen
Step 4: All the questions and options with ID numbers will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are required to choose the correct answer which they feel is correct
Step 5: Upload the supporting documents to justify their correct answer option
Step 6: Now, pay the fee through the digital payment option
