The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted JEE (Main) January-2020 Examination for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. between 06.01.2020 (Monday) to 09.01.2020 (Thursday) and the result of the same has been declared on 17.01.2020 & 23.01.2020.
Now, the NTA announces to conduct JEE (Main) April-2020 Examination for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. on 05.04.2020 & 07.04.2020 to 09.04.2020 & 11.04.2020.
Those Candidates who have already appeared in JEE (Main) January-2020 Examination can appear in JEE (Main) April- 2020 Examination for improvement, if they so wish. The candidates who could not appear in the January JEE (Main) 2020 Examination, may also appear in JEE(Main) April-2020 Examination. The candidate’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for the preparation of Merit List/Ranking.
As per the eligibility criteria for B.Arch. and B. Planning courses and according to the opinion of Subject Experts, a few changes in the pattern of the question paper(s) and the number of questions(s) for B.E./B.Tech, B. Arch and B.Planning have been approved by the JEE Apex Board (JAB) for the conduct of the JEE (Main)-2020 Examination.

The above examinations will be held in the “Computer Based Test” (CBT) mode only except the questions for the Drawing Test of B.Arch. which will be held in the “Pen & Paper” offline mode. A candidate may appear in B.E./B.Tech, B. Arch and B. Planning depending upon the course(s) he/she wishes to pursue.
All the candidates aspiring to take admission to the undergraduate programs at IITs for the year 2020 will have to appear in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE(Main)-2020. Based on the performance in the B.E./B.Tech. of JEE(Main)-2020, number of top candidates as per the requirement for JEE(Advanced)-2020 will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2020, Admission to IITs will be based on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE(Advanced), subject to the conditions as would be mentioned in JEE(Advanced)-2020 Website.
Candidates who desire to appear in the test may see the detailed Information Bulletin for JEE (Main) April-2020 available on the website www.nta.ac.in.
In order to appear in JEE(Main) April-2020 Examination, the candidates are required to apply only online between
07.02.2020 (Tuesday) to 06.03.2020 (Friday). The fees can be paid online up to 07.03.2020.
