Punjab Pre Medical Entrance Test (PMET) 2016 will be held on 5th May 2016 for admission towards PG Medical /Dental courses in Government /Private Colleges of Punjab. Eligible candidates shall apply online through Baba Farid University of Health Sciences’ official website. Candidates are advised to check the prospectus for the same before applying.
Punjab PMET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Punjab state.
- Candidate must be at least 17 years of age on or before 31.12.2016.
- Candidate must have completed class 10+2 or its equivalent examination from schools /boards of Punjab, with subjects Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
PMET Exam Fees
Candidates need to submit the Rs.1000/- for application form & prospectus. In case the candidate seeks application form by post then Rs. 1050/- has to be paid through DD. (NOTE – This is the fees only towards seeking for the prospectus). Application Fees while applying online is Rs. 8000/- for UR Category and Rs. 4000/- for Reserved category candidates.

PMET Exam Pattern
The exam paper would consist of 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The total time duration for the exam would be 150 minutes. The syllabus for this exam would be based entirely on the syllabus of the 11th and 12th standard.
