What documents are required for JEE Main?

National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the JEE Mains 2019. There is a list of documents which the candidates must carry to the examination centre. These documents will be seen at the examination centre for the verification of the candidates. These documents are must otherwise the candidate will not be allowed to appear for JEE Mains.

NTA has decided to conduct JEE two times a year so the candidates have more chances this year. JEE is divided in two phases- JEE Mains and JEE Advanced, candidates who qualify the JEE Mains can appear for JEE Advanced. NTA has already conducted one round of JEE Mains in January, date of JEE Mains was from January 8 to 12, 2019 in two shifts per day- forenoon session (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon session (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm), second round will be conducted in April from April 6 to 20 in a total of eight sessions. Last date to fill the application form for April is February 8 to March 7, 2019.

JEE Main Admit Card

Printed copy of the admit card to be downloaded from nta.ac.in, jeemain.nic.in.


Passport size photo

One passport size photo, same as the one which the candidate has uploaded on JEE Main Online Application form


Authorised Photo IDs

Any one valid IDs- Adhar Card / PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Ration


PwD Certificate

Certificate issued from a Competent Authority
