Karnataka Board SSLC Class 10 Exams 2019 To Commence Today

The SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Exams of the Karnataka Board is all set to start from today, i.e the 21st of March 2019, across the state. The first exams being conducted are for the First Languages.

In 2019, the number of students appearing for the exams is expected to be more than 8,41,666 students. Meanwhile, the Karnataka Education Examination Board(KSEEB) is also set with certain security measures so that the exams can be conducted without any issue.

These exams commencing from 21st March is scheduled to end by 4th April 2019 and will be held across 2,847 centres of Karnataka.

For students who wish to view the date sheet of the exams, they can do so at Time Table for KSEEB Class 10.

Officials also claim that as per last year’s reports, there has been a surge in the number of candidates, showing a jump of almost 3,578 candidates for this year. Most number of students who registered are from Bangalore South with their number reaching 65,451 students, while Bangalore North follows with 49,336 students.

Meanwhile, Coorg stands last with just 7,240 students registering for the exams. At the same time, the number of students is at 9,736 from Sirsi and 9,766 students from Uttara Kannada. Also, about 4,651 students are believed to be specially abled children and the department has been lenient with these students, allowing them to choose subjects of their choice. They were given the choice to select from other subjects beyond the most common Maths or Science.
