Linear Programming is the technique of maximizing or minimizing a linear function of different variables; that can be a cost or output. It is the process of considering various linear inequalities relevant to the particular situation and finding the best value obtained. The best example would be taking the limits of a labor and determining the top levels of production for maximal profits in those situations.
The basic purpose of solving linear programming problems is to able to graph the inequalities to make a defined area on the x,y plane, which is known as feasibility region. Then you find out the coordinates of its corners and test them by putting in the optimization equation to find the lowest or highest value.
We bring you linear programming worksheets that include linear programming problems based on the simplex method and linear equations along with dual simplex and more along with solutions.
