Relations and Functions Worksheet

In the domain of mathematics, the term relation denotes things having particular properties.  This would imply that these things would have some connection between them in a certain manner and therein lies the significance of a relation. Relation also would mean that two things were going on between them viz. They are either connected or not, and there would be no third case whatsoever. Mapping of elements would be the deciding factor behind the classification of relationships being of four types in particular. Thinking in formal terms, equal degree set of n-tuples would culminate in a relation.

Functions that are an integral part of mathematics, on the other hand, would look like a prescription that has been assigned to every single object of one object set of a different set.  Most cases have objects being numbers. Here we have provided a worksheet for relations and functions that would give insights to students on their application on problems of various formats.
