  1. The oviduct is the passage from where eggs pass from the ovary to the uterine cavity.
  2. It is also called the fallopian tube and uterine tube too.
  3. It is the narrow duct which is located in the female abdominal cavity that helps in the transportation of sperm.
  4. It also serves as the location for fertilization to occur in the presence of sperms.
