Are ribosomes RNA?

Solution
Ribosomes
Ribonucleic acid (abbreviated RNA) is a nucleic acid present in all living cells that has structural similarities to DNA.
Unlike DNA, however, RNA is most often single-stranded.
An RNA molecule has a backbone made of alternating phosphate groups and the sugar ribose, rather than the deoxyribose found in DNA.
Ribosomes are the particles present in a large number inside cells.
They are found in both prokaryotes (the 70S) and eukaryotes (the 80S), with a comparatively larger size in eukaryotes.
They are the significant sites of protein synthesis.
Ribosomes are made up of RNA and proteins.
