Oviducts

  1. Also known as fallopian tubes are paired tubular structures that open in the uterus.
  2. The other end has finger-like appendages called fimbriae.
  3. Oviducts are not connected to the ovaries.
  4. The fimbriae originate from a funnel-shaped infundibulum in the oviducts that lay near to ovaries.
  5. The ovaries are present near the fimbriae which helps to collect the eggs.
