Open in App
Solution

Antibiotic resistance:

Antibiotic resistance occurs when germs such as bacteria and fungi develop the ability to resist drugs that are designed to kill them.

Antibiotic resistance can be treated by:

  1. Antibiotics should not be used to treat a virus.
  2. Don't keep an antibiotic in your medicine cabinet for the next time you get sick.
  3. Antibiotics should be taken exactly as directed. Do not miss any doses. Even if you are feeling better, finish your entire course of treatment.
  4. Never take an antibiotic that has been prescribed for someone else.
