Photosynthesis is a process used by plants and other organisms which converts light energy to chemical energy.
Direct light is necessary for the initial stage of photosynthesis.
Direct sunlight helps in the excitation of electrons.
They then enter into cyclic and non-cyclic pathway photophosphorylation.
