  1. Adrenal insufficiency is a hormonal condition in which the adrenal glands fail to produce adequate cortisol and aldosterone molecules.
  2. Addison's disease is caused by the adrenal glands producing insufficient cortisol or aldosterone.
  3. Adrenal insufficiency symptoms include: Fatigue, chronic tiredness, depression, appetite loss, loss of weight, etc.
  4. Cortisol shortage causes extreme fatigue, chronic exhaustion, depression, appetite loss, and weight loss.
