What hormone stimulates the production of sperm?

Spermatogenesis is stimulated by androgens and FSH. GnRH released from the hypothalamus stimulates the secretion of gonadotropins from the pituitary, i.e. LH and FSH. LH stimulates Leydig cells to secrete androgens. Androgens stimulate spermatogenesis. FSH stimulates Sertoli cells to secrete certain factors which stimulate spermiogenesis.
