Acquired reflex:

  1. The involuntary actions which respond to the stimulation of the peripheral nerve are called reflex.
  2. The reflex that is mediated by the stimulus is called the acquired reflex.
  3. This reflex is developed during a lifetime because of experiences.
  4. This reflex is brought about by a condition that is totally different from the initial stimulus.
  5. It differs from individual to individual as it depends on experience and learning.

Examples:

  • Applying brakes to cars, bikes, etc.
  • Playing musical instruments
