  1. The choroid is a tissue layer that is made up of blood vessels.

  4. Around 85% of the oxygen circulation in the eye is carried out by choroidal circulation.
  5. It also aids in the maintenance of the eye's warmth and volume.
  6. Choroid injury can cause bleeding as well as serous macular detachment.

Constituents of the choroid:

Melanocytes, fibroblasts, immunocompetent cells, connective tissue, collagens, and other cells make up the choroid.
