Where is gonadotropin produced?

Gonadotropins are produced and secreted from the anterior pituitary or pars distalis region. The hypothalamic hormone GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) stimulates the production and release of gonadotropins from the anterior pituitary. LH and FSH are gonadotropins.
