Which Hormone Regulates the Function of Thyroid Gland?

The function of thyroid gland is regulated by TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone) secreted by the pituitary gland. Hypothalamus also controls the activity of thyroid gland indirectly. It releases TRH (Thyrotropin-releasing hormone), which stimulates the release of TSH by the pituitary gland.
