As per the directives issued by the Honorable Supreme Court of India, the medical entrance exam NEET-PG or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate will be held on 7th January 2018 for 1850 postgraduate medical seats. The exam is held for admission in the various MS, MD and PG diploma courses in around 181 dental and medical institutes across the country.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate 2018 (NEET PG 2018) will be conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE). It will be an online mode (computer-based) examination, which will be held on January 7, 2018. The online scheduling and registration for NEET PG 2018 will begin in the last week of October 2017. The results will be declared on 31st January 2018.
According to the National Board of Examination (NBE), this year the examination will be held only once and there will be a common paper for all applicants. Previously, the NEET PG was conducted for 8 days in 15 sessions.
Candidates preparing for NEET PG 2018 must know that they are required to provide their Adhaar Card details while applying for the examination. Candidates with a registration certificate issued by the State Medical Council (SMC) or the Medical Council of India (MCI) and an MBBS degree and are eligible to apply for the exam.
