APSET Eligibility
To participate in the exam without any hassles, candidates should ensure they are fulfilling APSET eligibility criteria. Else, they risk their candidature getting canceled. Two important factors of APSET eligibility are age limit and qualification.
APSET Age Limit
There is no cap on the upper age limit for the APSET exam. Thus, candidates of all age groups can participate in it.
APSET Qualification
A candidate must have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks to participate in the exam. For reserved categories, the percentage required is 50%. Candidates should note that they can only appear in the APSET exam for the subject in which they have their degree.
APSET Exam Pattern
APSET exam pattern is the structure on which the question paper is based. It also informs candidates of the crucial details of the exam. APSET comprises two sections; Paper 1 is generic, whereas Paper 2 is specific to the subject chosen by the candidate.
- Paper 1 consists of 50 questions, whereas Paper 2 consists of 100. The total number of questions asked in the exam is 150.
- For every correct answer, candidates are awarded 2 marks in both papers.
- The total marks of both papers are 300 marks.
- The exam does not have provisions for negative marking.
- APSET is held in offline mode and consists of objective-type questions.
- The exam is in Telugu and English, except for the Language courses of Paper 2.
