CSIR NET Eligibility

Candidates should check out the CSIR NET eligibility criteria before they apply for the exam. NTA expects strict adherence to the eligibility norms. Hence, to participate in the exam, candidates should avoid any deviations from it. The CSIR NET eligibility consists of Age Limit and Qualification factors.

• CSIR NET has an upper age limit of 28 years for research positions. As per the rules, reserved categories are provided with a relaxation of up to 5 years.
• There is no age limit for the post of Assitant Professor.
• Candidates in the General and OBC categories should have at least 55% marks in their MSc, Integrated BS-MS, B.Pharma, BE/BTech, MBBS, or an Equivalent Degree. For reserved categories, the minimum percentage is capped at 50%.
