300 foreign nationals to fly to India for JEE-Advanced 2022

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced has been scheduled for nearly 1.6 lakh candidates who are seeking admission to 23 Indian Institutes of Technology and 31 National Institutes of Technology. The examination will take place on August 28, 2022.
JEE-Advanced: Foreign nationals who have registered themselves for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced will have to fly to the country, as no examination centre outside the country has been booked. According to the data released, a total of 300 candidates will be appearing for the Joint Entrance Exam Advanced (JEE Advanced) this year. The examination is going to take place on August 28, 2022, according to the information released.
As per the statement made by IIT Bombay, which is the sole authority for conducting JEE-Advanced, approximately 1.6 lakh candidates have applied for JEE-Advanced 2022. The statement given does not mention any information related to the number of seats IIT is offering this year. Many IITs have introduced new programmes for this academic session.
Candidates are advised to keep a check on the Joint Seat Allocation Authority’s (JoSAA) official website, josaa.nic.in, as the department will soon release information on the number of seats available and seats that have been reserved for female candidates.
There are a total of 577 JEE Advanced test centres, which are located in approximately 222 cities across the country. Candidates who have not yet downloaded their admit card are advised to do it as soon as possible. Applicants without admit cards won’t be entertained inside the examination hall. The admit card will be available on the website till August 28, 2022, at 9 a.m.
The selection process will be long this year, as six rounds will be conducted for seat allocation in 23 IITs and one NIT. One special seat allocation will be conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) to offer admission to NIT. Candidates can visit the official website of JoSAA to download the schedule.
