AIBE 2022 syllabus for XVII exam released by Bar Council of India

The AIBE-XVII syllabus has been published on the official website of the Bar Council of India. AIBE 2022 syllabus The syllabus for the AIBE-XVII exam 2022 has been uploaded by the Bar Council of India(BCI) on its website. The syllabus is the same as it was before, no changes are there. Candidates can check the syllabus on the official website of the BCI, barcouncilofindia.org.The exam dates and online registration for the exam will be released shortly. The exam is held in offline mode(pen and paper). The AIBE exam is conducted in 11 different languages, candidates can select the language of their choice. The total marks for this examination are 100 and candidates have to score 40% marks to qualify for the exam. The type of questions asked in the exam is objective type. The duration of the exam is 3 and half hours with no negative marking. In order to appear for the exam, candidates must have completed their 3 or 5 years of B.A.LLB or equivalent undergraduate law courses. There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in the exam. It's mandatory to clear the AIBE exam to start practicing in court. Previously candidates could take their notes and books inside the examination hall, but recently the BCI has notified that candidates can only take the “ Bare act with short notes” book with them inside the hall. Candidates who have passed undergraduate law courses before 2010, don’t have to take the AIBE exam. For the candidates who have graduated after 2010, they have to register in the state bar council of their respective state or the state where they wish to practice law. Each state has its own state bar council. After registering they have to clear the AIBE exam. AIBE exam is conducted twice every year. Once the candidate clears the exam he/she will be provided the COP(Confirmation of Practice) certificate from the BCI.
