AILET 2023 exam date announced; registrations to begin from Sep 07

The AILET 2023 exam will be conducted in offline mode and the questions will be of objective type. AILET 2023 Exam Date The National Law University, Delhi has announced the AILET 2023 Exam Date at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The exam will be held on 11 December 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. The announcement also said that the admission notice and the online application form will be made available from 7 September 2022. The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) exam is conducted every year by NLU, Delhi for admissions into 5-year B.A.L.L.B(Hons), L.L.M and P.h.D programmes. The exam is conducted in offline mode.

Eligibility criteria for AILET 2023

Course-wise eligibility is being discussed below: For B.A.L.L.B(Hons) programme
  1. Candidates must have scored 45% marks (general category) or 40% marks(SC/ST/PWD category) in their 10+2 or equivalent exams.
For L.L.M programme
  1. Candidates must have scored 50% marks (general category) or 45% marks(SC/ST/PWD category) in their L.L.B degree or equivalent.
  2. Candidates who will be appearing or are awaiting the results of their final semester exams are also eligible to apply.
For the P.h.D programme
  1. Candidates must have scored 50% marks (general category) or 45% marks(SC/ST/PWD category) in their L.L.M degree or equivalent.
  2. Candidates who will be appearing or are awaiting the results of their final semester exams are also eligible to apply.

Question paper pattern for AILET 2023

Course-wise exam pattern are as follows: B.A.L.L.B(Hons) programme A total of 150 objective-type questions will be asked from General Knowledge(35), English(35), Legal Aptitude(35), Engineering Mathematics(10), and Reasoning(35). L.L.M programmme A total of 100 objective-type questions will be asked from Legal theory(20), Constitutional Law(20), Criminal Law(20), Law of Torts(20), and Law of Contracts(20). One essay-type question will be asked along with all this. P.h.D programme A total of 100 objective-type questions will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes duration. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer.
