AMET 2023 registrations to begin from Oct 01; Exam tentatively scheduled for March 2023

Apart from AMET 2023, the XAT, CMAT, CAT 2022, MAT 2022 & 2023 & NMAT scores will also be accepted for MBA admissions.
As per media reports, the registration for AMET 2023 will start on 1 October 2022. The exam will be conducted for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham MBA admissions for the 2023-24 session. The exam is tentatively scheduled for the month of March 2023. Candidates can visit the official website of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, amrita.edu to check more details.
The different MBA programmes offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are:
- General MBA, which is available in its Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kochi, and Amritapuri campuses.
- MBA/MBA-MS in Business Analytics Dual Degree Programme with University at Buffalo, USA, which is available only on the Bengaluru campus.
Apart from AMET 2023, the XAT, CMAT, CAT 2022, MAT 2022 & 2023 & NMAT scores will also be accepted for MBA admissions.
Scheme and pattern of AMET 2023
The exam will be conducted in online mode where objective-type questions will be asked. The questions will be asked from Verbal Reasoning & Language Comprehension (25 questions), Data Interpretation & Analysis (25 questions),
General Knowledge on Indian & Global Scenarios (25 questions), and Quantitative Aptitude (25 questions).
The duration of the exam will be two and a half hours. There will be 3 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Eligibility criteria for AMET 2023
Candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for appearing in the AMET 2023 exam:
- Candidates must have scored 50% marks in 10+2.
- Candidates must be a graduate with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates who wish to pursue MBA-MS in Business Analytics Dual Degree Programme must have an IBT-TOEFL score of 79 or an IELTS score of 6.5 on or before August 20, 2021.
- Candidates appearing in the final semester exams in 2023 can also apply.
