BITS registration 2022 direct admissions for 12 board toppers; last date to apply Aug 31

The direct admissions have been started by BITS Pilani into its integrated and B.Pharm courses for class 12 board toppers. The last date to register is 31 August 2022. BITS registration 2022 For the candidates who have topped in class 12 board exams in PCM and PCB streams can apply for direct admission in the BITS Pilani admission process 2022. Candidates who have topped in class 12th PCM stream are eligible for applying in integrated courses offered by BITS Pilani, whereas candidates who have topped in class 12th PCB stream are eligible for applying in B.Pharm courses in BITS Pilani and Hyderabad campus. Eligible candidates can visit the official website of BITS Pilani, bitsadmission.com to apply. Candidates also have to make sure that they apply and pay the application fee by 31 August 2022, 5:00 pm.

Steps to fill BITS Admission application form

  1. On the BITS, Pilani website, bitsadmission.com, click on the direct admission link for Integrated courses(If topped with PCM stream), or else click on the direct admission link for B.Pharm course(If topped with PCB stream).
  2. Next, go through the instructions and eligibility criteria for admission and then click on “allow me to apply online.”
  3. Next enter your personal details, academic marks, programme preference, and then upload your photograph, signature, and academic mark sheets as per instructions.
  4. Make sure you check your entered details before final submission. No correction facility is available afterward.
  5. Next, take a printout of your filled-up application.
  6. Keep visiting BITS, Pilani website for the latest updates regarding the further admission process.

Eligibility criteria for BITSAT direct admission

For admissions in integrated courses
  1. The topper candidates must have topped with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects.
  2. Candidates must have obtained the highest aggregate percentage marks among all other candidates.
  3. Direct admission is open only for candidates securing 1st rank in the class 12 board examination.
  4. In case there are multiple candidates who have secured 1st rank in a particular board, then the tie will be eliminated by individual marks scored in Maths, then Chemistry, and then Physics respectively.
  5. In case further tie exists, the individual marks scored in Maths, then Science of class 10 board examination will be considered respectively.
  6. If there is still a tie, then a written exam will be conducted to break the tie.
For admission into B.Pharm courses
  1. The topper candidates must have topped with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects.
  2. In case there are multiple candidates who have secured 1st rank in a particular board, then tie will be eliminated by individual marks scored in Biology, then Physics, and then Chemistry respectively.
  3. Rest criteria are the same as for Integrated courses.
