BPSC 67th combined prelims re-exam date 2022 Announced

The exam will be conducted in two phases pertaining to a large number of candidates being not able to accommodate on a single day. BPSC prelims re-exam date 2022 The Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC) has finally announced the BPSC prelims re-exam date 2022. The prelims exam will be conducted in two phases, i.e on 20 September 2022 and 22 September 2022. The decision to conduct the exam in two phases was taken by the commission in order to accommodate the large number of candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates can visit the official website of the BPSC, bpsc.bih.nic.in to view the official notice. Previously the preliminary exam was conducted on 8 May 2022, but due to a question paper leak, the exam was cancelled. The preliminary exam will be of objective type which will consist of 150 marks where 140 questions will be asked from General Studies and General Knowledge and the rest 10 questions will be asked from Mathematics and reasoning. The candidates who will qualify in the preliminary exam will become eligible to appear for mains exam. The mains exam will be subjective type consisting of four different papers namely Hindi, General Studies-1, General Studies-2, and Optional subject. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the BPSC on Hindi paper. The candidate's General Studies-1, General Studies-2, and optional subject papers will be checked only if he/she scores qualifying marks in Hindi. The Hindi paper consists of 100 marks, whereas GS-1, GS-2, and Optional subject consist of 300,300, and 300 marks respectively. The candidates who qualify in the mains exam will be called for the personality test round. The personality test round consists of 120 marks. The merit list will be calculated from prelims, mains, and personality test marks. The marks scored in the Hindi paper of the mains exam will not be considered for the merit calculation.
