BPSC LDC Main Exam Date 2022 Announced; Exam tentatively scheduled for Nov 20

Candidates who will qualify the mains exam will have to appear for computer typing skills test where candidates have to type 300 words in 10 minutes in Hindi at a speed of 30 words per minute.
The BPSC LDC Main Exam Date 2022 has been announced by the Bihar Public Service Commission. The exam is scheduled on 20 November 2022. However, it is subject to change depending on the circumstances. Candidates can view the official notice on the BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.
The BPSC LDC prelims exam was held on 26 February 2022 and the results of the prelims exam were declared on 20 June 2022.
In the mains exam, questions will be objective type and the exam will consist of two papers. Paper-1, General Hindi, will be of qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score a minimum of 30 marks out of a total of 100 marks in this subject to qualify. For each correct answer, four marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. The duration of the exam will be two hours and 15 minutes.
The marks scored on paper-1 will not be counted during the merit list preparation. In case any candidate scores below 30, then his/her paper 2 will not be checked.
Paper 2, General Knowledge, will consist of questions from General Studies (50 marks), General Science, and Mathematics (50 marks), and a Mental ability test (50 marks). The duration of the exam will be two hours and 15 minutes. The correct answers will fetch four marks and the wrong answer will fetch a deduction of one mark.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in paper 2.
Candidates who will pass the mains exam will have to appear for the computer skill test, where candidates have to type a total of 300 words in Hindi at a speed of 30 words per minute in 10 minutes in mangal font. In order to pass this test, candidates shouldn’t have errors of more than one and a half percent.
The dates of the skill test will be announced by the BPSC shortly.
