CA Inter May 2023 Exams: According to the notification which was released on August 20, 2022, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a relaxation for candidates who provisionally applied through direct entry on July 31, 2022. As per the notification released, candidates can now submit their graduation documents for verification before filling out the application form for May 2023 Intermediate course. The document should mention the passing marks of the candidate.
Candidates applying for the examination should check the marking criteria and other guidelines before applying. Candidates can visit the official website of ICAI at icai.org in order to check the guidelines and the recently released notification. Guidelines related to minimum marks have been provided in sub-regulation (4) of Regulation 28F.
Candidates please note that ICAI has also stated that these students start their training for practicals on or before 1st October 2022. Training can only start after completing the ICITSS and appearing for the May 2023 Intermediate examination.
Candidates, please note that this is only a one-time relaxation for the candidates who had to face issues due to the delay in the declaration of their results. As per the reports published by various media houses, ICAI has taken this decision because it could not declare the final year graduation results on time.
According to the schedule released, the examination will take place in November, 2022. The notification released for the schedule stated that the examination for Group 1 will be conducted on November 2, 4, 6, and 9. For Group 2, it has been arranged to take place on November 11, 13, 15, and 17.
