Imphal (Manipur) is the new exam centre added by IIM Bangalore to conduct CAT 2022 exam. The CAT 2022 registration has been extended to 21 September 2022. Candidates can visit the official website of the CAT 2022, iimcat.ac.in to register for CAT 2022. Along with that, IIM Bangalore has also announced that Imphal (Manipur) exam centre has been newly added for conducting the online exam. Previously the CAT 2022 registration deadline was on 14 September 2022. The exam is scheduled for 27 November 2022.

CAT 2022 registration process

Go to the official website of the CAT 2022, iimcat.ac.in.
Click on the register link for new registration.
Enter the required information and verify your email ID and mobile number.
The login credentials will be mailed to you.
Login with your credentials and enter your personal details, educational qualifications, work experience(if any), choice of exam cities, and upload the required documents.
Now click on “save and next” tab.
Payment gateway will open up, where you have to make the payment.
Now submit your application and take the printout of it.

Scheme and pattern of CAT 2022 exam

The questions will be of objective and fill in the blanks type. A total of 66 questions will be asked. Each correct answer will fetch 3 marks, whereas each wrong answer will be penalised (1 marks will be deducted). The medium of the question paper will be English.The total marks of the exam will be 198 and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The questions will be asked from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension(40 minutes , 24 questions), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning(40 minutes, 20 questions), and Quantitative Aptitude(40 minutes, 22 questions).
