CAT 2022 Registration portal to close on 14 Sept, 2022; Exam on 27 Nov, 2022

Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 application submission deadline is September 14, 2022. Admit card to be released on October 27, 2022, whereas the examination will be conducted on November 27, 2022.
CAT 2022 Registration: The application portal for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 will close on September 14, 2022. Interested candidates are advised to submit their applications as soon as possible at the official website, iimcat.ac.in. According to the guidelines released, the application fee for general category candidates is Rs 2,300, whereas for the reserved category it is Rs 1,150.
As per the schedule released, the examination is scheduled to be conducted on November 27, 2022. The admission card will be released on October 27, 2022. Candidates must not change their registered mobile number or email address until the CAT 2022 is completed.
Candidates will receive an OTP on their email address and mobile number, through which they will be allotted their user ID and password. Candidates need to submit the following documents while applying for the entrance test:
- Scanned marksheets of Class 10, 12, bachelor's degree/master's degree, diploma, others
- Work experience documents
- Photo and signature scanned from a passport

CAT 2022 Registration: Steps to register
- The application form will be available on the official website.
- On the homepage, click on the CAT 2022 application process link.
- Key in the required login credentials.
- Then enter your personal and academic details.
- After checking all the details provided, pay the application fee.
- Click on submit.
- Download the form and take a printout for further reference.
The examination will be conducted in three sessions. Each session will last 2 hours . There will be questions on quantitative ability, verbal ability, reading comprehension, data interpretation, and logical reasoning.
