CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline to register for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2022 scheme. Interested candidates can visit the official website, cbse.gov.in, to apply.
As per the information mentioned on the official website, the new deadline to apply for the scholarship is November 30, 2022. The board is going to conclude the application verification process on December 17, 2022.
According to the guidelines released, candidates who will successfully clear the Class 10 examination and are planning to pursue their education at CBSE-accredited schools in Classes 10 and 12 will be considered for the scholarship.
Students who are an only child and have secured more than 60% of marks in class 10 examinations are also eligible to apply for the scholarship. Eligible female students can follow the steps mentioned below in order to apply.
How to apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2022?
- In order to apply, candidates need to visit the official website, cbse.gov.in.
- Scroll down the page and click on the scholarship tab.
- A new page will open.
- Click on the "Guidelines and Application Forms 2022/Apply Online" link.
- And then click on the "Single Girl Child Scholarship—2022 (Fresh Application)/Apply Now" link.
- Feed in the required information in the application form, and then click on "submit."
