CGBSE 2022 application forms released for higher secondary self-study examinations

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur has released the application forms for higher secondary self-study examinations for the academic year 2022–23. The application forms are available at cgbse.nic.in.

CGBSE 2022: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur, has started inviting applications from government and non-government for high school and higher secondary self-study examinations for the academic year 2022–23. School heads or concerned authorities can visit the Raipur Board’s official website, cgbse.nic.in, to apply for the examination.

As per the schedule released, the last date to submit the application form without a late fee is November 30, 2022, whereas the last date to submit the application fee without a late fee is December 15, 2022. The schedule also states that schools that apply after December 15, 2022, will have to pay a special late fee. The last date to submit the application form with special late fees is December 25, 2022. Applications submitted after December 25, 2022 won’t be considered valid.

Recently, the board also announced the examination dates for class 10 and 12 exams for the academic year 2022–23. The examinations for class 10 and senior secondary, i.e., class 12, will commence on September 6, 2022, and will conclude on October 1, 2022. The examination for each subject will be conducted in a single shift, which will start at 2 pm and continue till 4 pm.

The examination will be conducted in offline mode and in pen and paper format. Students without face masks and hand sanitisers won’t be allowed to sit for the examinations. Candidates must ensure that they have to follow all social distancing norms while appearing for the examination.

As per the information received from the board, in 2021 a total of 71 students in class 10 results secured a rank in the top 10 list and the overall pass percentage obtained by the students was 74.23 per cent. In the case of class 12, the overall pass percentage was 79.30 percent. Girls outperformed boys in both the class 10 and class 12 examinations.
