CUET 2022: The CUET exam postponing trend has not come to an end yet, as NTA has made a comeback with the announcement of postponing one more examination. According to the latest notification released, NTA has postponed the examination which was scheduled to be conducted on August 23, 2022.
But this time the reason is not technical glitch or last-minute change in examination centres. Many candidates who are taking the CBSE Compartment Examination or other entrance examinations on the same day recently raised their concerns. As a result, NTA had to take this step of postponing the examination in order to avoid overlapping the dates.
The official notification regarding the same states that the NTA has considered all the requests made by various candidates to postpone the examination, which was scheduled to be conducted on August 23, 2022 and has come to the conclusion of postponing the examination in order to avoid clashing with other important examinations like the CBSE compartment exam. The notification is available on both the official websites: nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website, as the NTA’s notification does not mention the date on which the examination has been rescheduled. The news on admit cards and the schedule is still pending. Recently, NTA launched CUET grievance redressal email, so that candidates can raise their issues. NTA CUET grievance redressal email is cuetugdateclash@nta.ac.in.
The second most registered examination in the country is being conducted for the very first time. NTA recently issued admit cards for phase 6 of its examination. Phase 6 of CUET-UG will start on August 24 and will continue till August 30, 2022. The admit card for the examination, which has been scheduled to be conducted on August 30, 2022, has not been released till now.
CUET-UG 2022 started on July 15, 2022. A total of 489 examination centres have been booked to conduct the examination. These exam centres are located in 269 cities, of which 10 are located outside India.
