NTA released the CUET UG 2022 results along with the final answer keys on 16 September 2022. Candidates can check their results by visiting the official website of NTA, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
NTA released the provisional answer keys on 8 September 2022 and gave a chance to raise objections till 10 September 2022 5:00 pm. Based on the objections raised and analysing the validity of them, NTA prepared the final answer key and prepared the result.
Over 9 lakh candidates appeared for the CUET UG 2022 exam out of which 4,29,228 were female candidates, 5,38,965 were male candidates, and eight were third gender candidates.
Owing to the technical glitches the exams were conducted in six phases spanning from 15 July 2022 to 30 August 2022. With one subject being conducted in multiple sessions and with different question levels, NTA adopted a new normalised marks calculation method for fair calculation of final marks. An equipercentile method was adopted to calculate the normalised marks.
Candidates' CUET UG scorecard will consist of the percentile marks and normalised score. The universities will consider the candidates’ normalised marks for their merit list preparation. The percentile score is merely the indication of the percentage of students scoring equal to or less than the candidates’ raw score in a particular session.
NTA has sent the marks of the candidates to the universities in which candidates have desired to take admission in undergraduate programmes. Recently NTA also gave candidates a chance to make corrections or modify their CUET UG 2022 applications, whose deadline was 15 September 2022. In the modification window, NTA also gave the candidates a chance to add more universities along with their undergraduate programs which they wish to take admission into.
The CUET UG 2022 exam became one of the most sensitive exams of the year, with over 54,555 unique combinations of papers, over 2,219 question papers consisting of a total of 50,476 questions. Alongwith that over 1,240 subject experts and 680 translators were employed by NTA to prepare the questions, to review the objections received for the provisional answer keys, and compute the final normalised marks.
Besides that, exams were conducted in thirteen different regional languages (English, Hindi along with other regional languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).
In addition to 259 exam centres including remote areas across India, the exam also consisted of over 10 international exam centres namely Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City and New York.
