In its latest notice, the national testing agency has explained the detailed process of normalisation of marks for the CUET UG 2022 exam. The equipercentile method will be followed for the calculation of the normalisation of marks. Candidates can visit the official website of NTA, cuet.samarth.ac.in to check the detailed procedure of normalisation.
In the equipercentile method, first, from the raw scores, the percentile score will be calculated. After that, the interpolation scores will be calculated. Interpolation signifies a candidate’s raw marks forecast in all the exam shifts based on his/her raw marks scored in a particular shift.
Once the interpolation is established for all the shifts, then the average marks from all the shifts will be calculated. This average score will be the normalised score of a candidate.
In the CUET UG 2022 scorecard, the candidate's percentile score and normalised score will be shown.
CUET UG 2022 results have been declared by NTA on 16 September 2022. The examinations started on July 16, 2022, and continued till August 30, 2022.
