Delhi University has released the list of vacant seats. More than 59,000 candidates have already confirmed their seats for admission to undergraduate courses by paying the admission fees after the first round.
DU Admission 2022: Delhi University has released the list of vacant seats. As per the information released, in the second round there will be courses where only two seats will be available for the candidates. Candidates can visit the official website of Delhi University, du.ac.in, to check the list.
As per the information given, no seats are available for admission in courses like BA economics in Hindu College and BA programme (history + political science) in Aryabhatta College. Candidates will hardly find any seat in DU's famous colleges which are located in the north campus like Hindu and Miranda House, as most of the candidates have been given admission in the first round itself.
Only a few PwD (persons with disabilities) seats are left at several courses that are being offered by St. Stephen's College. In Miranda House only 5 seats are left vacant in BSc (Hons) physics and 2 are left in BSc (Hons) Chemistry. Seats in more than 20 courses have been filled.
Candidates must note that reconciliations, withdrawals and cancellations might lead to a change in the number of vacant seats. More than 59,000 candidates have already confirmed their seats for admission to undergraduate courses by paying the admission fees.
The university has also opened a two-day window in order to offer the opportunity of upgrading the preferred 'programme+college combination' preference, to the candidates who have secured admission in undergraduate courses. The list of vacant seats for round 2 will be declared on october 30, 2022. The list will be prepared on the basis of the number of seats available. The deadline for the fee payment process for the second round of seat allocation is November 3, 2022.
