DU Admissions: According to the schedule which was earlier released by the Delhi University, the second phase of the admission process, i.e., the choice filling and locking of courses by the candidates, will commence from September 26, 2022. The deadline to submit the preferred courses and DU-affiliated colleges list on the Common Seat Allocation System is October 10, 2022.

Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the UG Bulletin of Information before confirming the programmes and colleges in which they want to get enrolled in. Candidates have been requested by the university to fill in the maximum number of preferences. Mentioned below are all the steps of the CSAS second phase.

DU Admission: Steps involved in the second phase of CSAS

  1. The Common Seat Allocation System portal of the candidate will display the list of all the programmes and colleges that the candidate is eligible to apply for. The list has been created on the basis of the eligibility criteria of each programme and the normalised CUET Scores of the candidates.
  2. Candidates do not have to turn in their scores. The CSAS system will auto-fill the best four scores, which will be based on the subject combinations.
  3. There is no limit on the number of programmes that one can apply for.
  4. Once the preferred programmes are submitted, the system will then display the names of the colleges that offer the programmes that the candidate has chosen.
  5. Candidates will have to choose the programmes and their preferred college combinations.
  6. Then, after clicking on submit, the system will display all the selections that have been made by the candidate.
  7. Candidates also have the facility to reshuffle the order on the basis of their preferences.
  8. The last step is to confirm the preferences.

Candidates must ensure they adhere to the given deadline, or else the saved preferred order will be locked automatically. Candidates will be allotted seats based on these preferences. This is the first time that DU undergraduate admissions are being conducted on the basis of CUET-UG scores.
